In 1973 Tony Hopewell graduated from the renowned course in creative photography at Trent Polytechnic. Since then he has worked as an advertising photographer from his London base for national and international clients. More recentlyTony returned to university and gained an MA (with distinction) in photography.
In 2006 he relocated to Cornwall in order to concentrate on his two main interests, photography and sailing. In addition to his photographic qualifications, Tony has yachtmaster and powerboat qualifications and has logged thousands of hours working on commercial vessels.
