LOCATION
All of Tony’s workshops are based in St Mawes, a small unspoilt fishing village located at the tip of the Roseland peninsula, on the south Cornish coast.
St Mawes, and other villages on the Roseland, such as Portloe, Portscatho and Portholland, are some of the most exclusive waterside locations within Cornwall, with plenty of activities and accommodation from self catering cottages to exclusive Hotels and bed and breakfasts.
Because of its position in the Gulf Stream, the climate in St Mawes and on the Roseland Peninsula is very mild all year round and during the summer temperatures can reach those of the Mediterranean. As a result there are beautiful local gardens throughout the area with exotic flora.
However, this is England and the weather can be unpredictable, so please make sure that you have appropriate outdoor wear including footwear. They do say that there is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes!
Cornwall is hilly and a reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required to enjoy these workshops. Whilst every care is taken it is your responsibility to ensure your own safety and that of your equipment. It is strongly recommended that you take out appropriate insurance.
